Gillian Segal founder and principal designer at her eponymous firm, Gillian Segal Design. From a young age, Gillian has always had a passion for the decorative arts and after obtaining her Bachelor of Arts went onto formally study and train as an interior designer. After working with some of Vancouver’s top design firms, Gillian branched out to share her own unique point of view, and her modern eclectic aesthetic. Her work has since gone on to be recognized and shared by some of the top shelter publications including Architectural Digest, Elle Décor and The New York Times.

Laura catapulted her career after obtaining a bachelor’s degree in interior design. With experience across North America with renowned firms such as Carrie Hayden and Brian Paquette, Laura brings over a decade of luxury residential and commercial design experience to our team. Her grace, and positive energy makes for an incredible client and vendor relationship. Laura is known for her driven work ethic, attention to detail and her ability to translate a strong design story in collaboration with the client’s goals. During Laura’s time at Gillian Segal Design her work has been feature in Vogue Living, OK! Magazine, Dwell amongst others.

Madilynn earned her Diploma of Interior Design in Vancouver, BC and has nearly a decade of experience working with firms across Canada. Her passion for design stems from her childhood admiring her Mother in the Interior Design world. Madilynn’s years of experience in both Residential and Commercial design has provided her with the experience to marry the art of storytelling through the client’s personality and requirements. She believes that thoughtful design starts with the people who experience it and takes great pride in building a relationship with each client to allow the best expression of what makes a house home.

After completing her Bachelor of Arts degree in Montreal, Theresa returned to Vancouver to study and embark on a career in Interior Design. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Theresa has been involved in designing and overseeing a diverse range of creative projects from concept to completion, including residential, multifamily, and commercial. Theresa finds inspiration in her clients and her surroundings, and has a keen eye for detail to procure and create a beautiful finished product.

Alexandra intimately understands the delicate balance between aesthetics and rationality. It’s what led her to finish both a Bachelor and Masters of Architecture at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture in Ukraine. She further sharpened her skillset working on many high end residential interior projects throughout Europe and the Middle East, diversifying her knowledge of building codes and zoning laws, as well as her client’s habits, behaviours and desires. Alexandra believes that a designer’s role is to manifest their client’s best versions of themselves and feel 100% within their personalized spaces, an environment that is safe and inspiring. Alexandra blends her obsession for math and science with her love of visual arts to achieve incredible results for Gillian’s discerning client list.

Enid enjoys storytelling through design to create unique & playful spaces to set a specific mood and atmosphere – often drawing inspiration from various art forms and childhood. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Carleton University and has experience in a variety of fields like editorial design, graphic design, experience design and photography. Enid enjoys working and collaborating with others to blend their background and interests with design. Her versatility brings a unique perspective to the work at Gillian Segal Design.

Tina brings over 20 years of financial experience with 10 of those years specializing in the Interior Design industry. Her expertise in finance in conjunction with her passion and attention to meticulous details is not only a huge asset to the firm but to our clients, vendors, and partnerships.
