Great Spaces: See this Amazing Manhattan Apartment

This months issue of Architectural Digest featured a New York apartment that's so incredible, I had to share.  Designed by Francis D'Haene (of D'Apostrophe Design) this apartment boasts an amazing art collection carefully curated by the owners, Brett Gorvy and Amy Gold (a private art dealer).  Muted tones and luxurious textures were used to create a comfortable and "cocoon-like" backdrop to display their impressive collection.  D'Haene definitely succeeded in his goal  to modernize the space while staying true to the buildings pre-war roots.  What draws me to this space most (besides the art) is the amazing layering of texture and the many soft, feminine curves used throughout the apartment (like the fabulous sofas featured in the living room below).  Enjoy!
